Who we are. Crisp Credit (registration number 2022/645945/07, a private company registered in South Africa) is a registered credit provider (NCR registration number NCRCP16756). Our Information Officer can be reached at hello@crispcredit.co.za.
What this notice covers. How we collect and use personal information through this website. It is separate from the privacy terms in a credit agreement, which apply if you borrow from Crisp.
What we collect on this site.
- When you get in touch through our form: your first name, surname, work email address, and (if you choose to give them) your contact number, what your enquiry is about, and anything you write in the message box.
- When a worker refers their workplace: the workplace name, any HR or manager contact provided, and, optionally, the referrer’s name and contact details.
We don’t collect anything else through this website. If you go on to apply for a loan, that happens separately over WhatsApp and is covered by its own loan-specific privacy terms, not this page.
Why we collect it. To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, talk to you about a Crisp pilot; to introduce Crisp to a referred workplace with the referrer’s consent; and, if a worker opts in, to notify them if their workplace joins. We do not use these details for anything else.
Consent. Submitting one of our forms is your consent for us to contact you for that purpose. A worker referral proceeds only with the worker’s explicit consent, and a worker may refer anonymously.
Who we share it with. We do not sell your information. Form submissions are processed through our forms provider, Formspree, and reach us by email. This site also loads fonts from Google, which may receive your IP address as a normal part of that request. We don’t share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it. We don’t keep it any longer than we need it for the reasons above. Once your enquiry is resolved and there’s no ongoing conversation, we delete it.
How we protect it. We limit access to what you send us to the people at Crisp who need it to follow up with you, and rely on Formspree’s own security measures for transmitting and storing form data.
Your rights. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or object to its use. Contact our Information Officer at hello@crispcredit.co.za. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
